TAZ tillers are the right size for sub-compact tractors and are designed to till the ground for seedbed preparation. They are ideal for residential landscaping, small nurseries, gardens, small hobby farms, or medium duty residential use.
Our rototillers allow you to control the soil mix. With the rear panel in the open position, soil and coarse debris can be worked through. Closing the rear panel produces finer mulching, maximum trash chopping and soil mixing. The rear panel offers more security and a nice finish when fully lowered.
Made with strong carbon steel blades. Gear driven with six large blades per shoulder will provide all the power needed for good tillage.
Please note that this 5 foot rototiller is a heavy duty construction with the same dimensions of blades, gears and gear box as the 6 foot 1000007 models. If your job doesn’t require all that power, look to the 1300040 Light Duty Tiller.
